Akbank Permanent Installation

A permanent data-art installation at Akbank headquarters in Istanbul, spanning 60 million pixels across 220 square meters.
The piece runs in four sections — Akbank Archives, Akbank Memories, Istanbul Winds and Coral Dreams — visualizing trade networks, historical photographs, live wind data from Istanbul's weather sensors, and coral reef imagery.
I worked with the Refik Anadol Studio team on the two archive sections. For Akbank Archives I built the trade-network visuals, where each line and node reflects the institution's growth, and machine learning clustering pre-processed hundreds of thousands of transactions into evolving data sculptures. For Akbank Memories I built visual collages from the building's photographic history.
