Humidity levels, captured over time, drive the simulation for the Nature chapter, shaping how the system evolves. Inspired by the symmetrical complexity of traditional Arabic art, the resulting kaleidoscopic structures evoke both architectural precision and natural growth. The work plays with a tension I keep returning to: the push and pull between organic life and inert matter. At its core it reflects on the dynamic equilibrium between the organic and the inorganic — a speculative ecosystem where mineral logic and biological flow continuously converge and diverge.

The second chapter is driven by yearly temperature data, amplified to the point where it starts to leave marks not just on air, but on matter itself. I've always been fascinated by thresholds — when slow change crosses a line and suddenly becomes violent. In Land, the heat isn't just measured — it erupts. The simulation plays with exaggeration, almost like tuning the climate dial past safe limits — not to illustrate catastrophe, but to explore how subtle data can be pushed into something tactile, raw, and expressive.

This final chapter, Air, explores something we usually only feel, but rarely see — wind. I used a full year's worth of wind direction and strength data, feeding it into a system designed to make air movement not just visible, but architectural. The base layer is a real slice of Dubai, built from OpenStreetMap data — streets, buildings, districts. I wanted something grounded as a counterpoint to the chaotic force brushing over it. In motion, particles behave like flocks, storms, murmurs — pushing against architecture, lifting off the grid, flowing with the shape of the city.

Earth Dreams premiered at Dubai's Museum of the Future in November 2024, unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The installation was later featured at SXSW 2025 in Austin, where it transformed part of the Museum of the Future House into a living, breathing environment shaped by real-world data and generative motion.
